Microsoft urges customers to secure on-premises Exchange servers. Read an official message from Microsoft here. In addition to keeping it up to date, Microsoft also recommends adding additional security to the environment by enabling Windows Extended Protection and configuring certificate-based signing of PowerShell serialization payloads.
